Travel Nevada Grant Fuels Sutro Tunnel Tourism Revival
On June 5, 2025, the Nevada Commission on Tourism awarded the Friends of Sutro Tunnel a $493,323 grant through the 3D Program to create a 10-year plan linking Dayton and Virginia City, boosting cultural and heritage tourism with sustainable, locally inspired experiences.
